Who we are
Psaro Hyper Group was founded in 1992. The company has taken over mater Franchise of Carrefour in Democratic Republic of Congo, with the aim of launching the Carrefour brand in DRC with the operation and development of retail stores under Carrefour banner as well as the promotion of Carrefour products in the Congolese market.
Carrefour’s success is based on its strong Retail know-how of super markets and the fast-moving consumer goods sector (FMCG). Our vision is to provide our customers with excellent service and high-quality products that are accessible to everyone in all distribution channels.
The company gives great importance to its employees, recognizing their ability and contribution to the entire organization and adopting a multicultural approach in its operation, recognizing the importance of diversity and social responsibility in all its activities.
Through its national presence and ability to adapt to ever-evolving production and consumption patterns, Hyper Psaro contributes to the new approach for everyone to have access to consumer goods and essentials. The Carrefour Group
With a multi-format network of more than 14,000 stores in more than 40 countries, the Carrefour Group is one of the world leaders in food commerce. Carrefour achieved a turnover of 94.1 billion euros in 2023. For 60 years, Carrefour has been pioneers in the large food retail business, continuously striving to make our products both affordable and accessible to everyone: creators of the hypermarket in 1963, Carrefour Brand products in 1976, the Reflets de France brand in 1996, and visionaries with the marketing in 1997 of the Carrefour Bio organic product range.

Our almost 500,000 employees around the world through the 300 job functions that they perform are ambassadors for the food transition in their daily working lives, as well as their family circles.
